I really love the concept, and the polish is insane. The only problem I had was the controls for the soul bubble thing, I kept forgetting that it's arrows to turn instead of just going to where you point.
It would be cool if there was a crossroad somewhere, and you could choose to continue with your soul or abandon it. Not saying it's a good idea, but it's an idea nevertheless.

Spent more time speedrunning this and went from a 2:36:30 to a 2:16:57 deathless. This beat the previous record (set by me) by 19.33 seconds (using in game time). While my goal is a sub 2 minute, I'm starting to doubt if it's possible. I haven't discovered any gate clips even though I have discovered a ceiling clip which dev_dwarf says he's currently patching. This has brought me into the next level before without getting all the souls but it's only happened once by accident and I can't get to happen again. since I can't replicate I don't even know if it saves any time or not. I'm also messing around with the length of my soul to see if soul jumping (jump soul soul or space x x) is fast enough when compared to regular souling to be useful, or if the startup nullifies it. I will keep messing around with this prototype. I can't wait to run the real game when it comes out!

The screen turned black at about the 5th part. I tried refreshing the page but now it doesn't respond to anything and just tells me to press x to begin. I'm now stuck on the title screen.
Great work! So juicy and well polished! Got pretty far but then I think when I died I moved to the left and got stuck outside the level and couldn't get back in. haha. Great work still! So good! :D
This game is EPIC! The art, is small and gets it done in a good way. The gameplay is great, although you need to get used to the control of the soul jump. I really like this and hope that it will get made into a full game.

Also could you add a easy way to get to the menu cause whenever I encounter a bug I have to reload the game, if this was added I would be grateful.

it is in the part where you jump up that tall hole in the ceiling, I used soul and turned in that part and got sucked into the void.

Bug Report: When transitioning from the first bench area to the level after that you can fall through the floor by holding left.

I've been speedrunning this game and I've got my time down to a 2:36:30. I'm aiming for a sub 2 minute and will update when that happens

You can restart a level by pressing r
oh good to know! I will replay through it when I get some time. Didn't get to play as long as I wanted the first time through. :p
