Did a video about your game and Sprite Stacking. Well done Dev Dwarf!!

My game crashed during the boss to the north after the goat skull, and now I can't progress because now there are trees on my way.

Softlocked. :/

I really enjoyed this game, it was cute and I loved the pixel art for it. The different Pallets was also a really cool idea. Didn't get to finish but will certainly be going back to it.

(+1)

aw man i actualy realy wanted to try this since i saw it on the gms2 disc

is there some problem thats preventing you from playing? id love to help

No no! I'm realy excited to try it i didn't know it was on itch!

(+1)

how do you delete save file? I want to play the game from the beggining but even when I download it again, the game starts from the last checkpoint. I'm confused, I deleted everything and downloaded again and still same thing happens.

(+1)

in the options menu, scroll down to bottom (using s) and there will be an option to delete. You can also go to appdata/wobs and delete the folder. Sorry for the inconveniences!

(+1)

Oooh I didn't even notice that option, thanks.

What a wondrous little game this is! I didn't expect the depth and the many different mechanics and the dark story lurking in the background of the cute story about a resurrected skelly and his new found friends, but I appreciated every morsel of it!

A lovely little adventure experience, where each new skill you unlock assists you to progress through a different area of the map (which is twofold thanks to the "light" and "dark" versions). Throw in some nice challenging bosses to fight and you've got yourself a pretty awesome time!

I'll echo what some other people have said here and express my slight frustration at the camera, sometimes it was a bit of a chore trying to get it to behave, but it didn't take away from the overall aesthetic of the game.

Definitely recommended by me, anyone who loves old school adventure RPG games will get a kick out of this for sure!

(+1)

Haven't played it yet, just wanted to say thanks for the Sprite Stacking tutorial I really need it. :)

No problem! Feel free to message me if you need help with that stuff.

Hey Dev_dwarf Would You Mind If I Promote Your Video Game On Our Game Launcher ???? CD Launcher (We Will Still Credit You lol)

Please dont without permission, id rather keep the game on itch

(+1)

I Am Asking For Your Permission

(+1)

No thank you

Wow so cute and great aesthetic! Amazing look and levels and the witch hands were UwU and the forest floor eyes are on point creepy, and overall very impressed!

I got stuck cause I couldnt give the 50 flowers dood their flowers after I had enough. Agree camera is too swingy.

Overall I am charmed and would love to see more overall and more refinements!

I really like the aesthetic of the game! However, the constant wild camera movements were really disorienting. The camera was constantly breaking the 180-degree rule, making it easy to lose track of where I came from and where I was going. Still managed to make it through the whole game and had a good time. I appreciate all the hidden collectible pallets scattered about. Congrats on the fun little game!

How does the cloning thing work? I've spent about an hour on the final boss so far and I've only been able to accidently clone myself once. Looking at the videos of people who beat the game, they cloned somehow to beat the boss but I wasn't able to do it.

(+1)

Clone yourself by pressing shift near a skull on the ground.

Super fun game! I just love pixel graphics, and adventure games. I would love a full game with this style, with RPG elements like shops, upgradables and other quests. I like the game for what it is though. The only thing I would suggest, is being able to know where your character is when behind trees, like maybe an overlay or an x-ray outline. Great game, looking forward to more projects!

Please check out the video and my channel: VladMan. Thank you!

(+2)

it was a good game and camera angle were also very good and the animation were good

(+2)

Quite the game if I do say so myself. The camera angles are interesting, to say the least. Short but sweet and definitely worth playing :)

(+1)

cool game ;P

(1 edit) (+2)

See this game in reddit . Great guy you are.

(+1)

Great game!

i feel like the camera could be inproved, i sometimes can't see where am i going.

(+1)

OHH MAMA GOT STUCK! file:///home/ceibal/V%C3%ADdeos/lIANTHUS%20GLITC.webm

(+1)

WASD, and mouse to select things. All you need to do is click to enter the game!

(+1)

thank u

(+1)

i saw it on reddit loved the art style

(+1)

hello !! is it okay if someone explains all the controls for me? I feel a little lost and like im missing something :,0

WASD, and mouse to select things. All you need to do is click to enter the game! Other controls will be explained in game.

I entered the game but can't interact with anything. My select button is j and I pressed it around everything in the starting area but nothing happened. Clicking also doesn't work.

youll need to explore a bit. Try finding the witch to the right of the starting area!

I played it right after I posted the comment and found the other objects.

Thank you!

(+2)

I loved playing it! The general ambiance is really relaxing. The camera could be a bit slower when turning to show a new area, but this is definitively a good game.

(+1)

this is so cool. Great job everyone who worked on it and those who inspired them. I really like the art

(+2)

I played through the game and actually uploaded my gameplay to my channel! I honestly really loved this, it is definitely one of the favorites I've played in a while! The gameplay was unique, the art was gorgeous, the music was beautiful, and the characters were delightful. I had a few minor gripes with polish, but I would love to see a follow-up to this. Thank you for this, please, if you are able, make more!

(+1)

Im in love with the sound design, amazing jo

Thank you!

(+1)

This is really good. The parts I liked the most is the exploration and finding where I have to go next. Overall nice. Some things like the camera and the combat could be a little better in a next game. I made a video playing it here:

(+2)

Y'all, I like so much about this game, the art, the sound design, the mood... but it gave me some very bad motion sickness with the camera that whips around every time you enter a new area. I'm not sensitive to motion sickness usually, but I was nauseous for hours after playing this :/

(+1)

I'm so sorry to hear that!

(+1)

The game is great, especially the bosses! Congrats!

Eyyy! Really nice game also really nice mood!

I think that there are some weak points in the level design of the dark forest furthermore the game really inspired me!

(+1)

I really wanna play this game! I always saw it on Twitter, and it looks cool. I'm not on Windows though :(

Damn sorry. I may port to other places in the future, just don't have the means atm

i can make you play it remotely via steam

It works with wine

(+1)

Really nice game, nice overall gameplay experience and feel
Good Work!

(+1)

This game is sooooo good, the art, music and fights were amazing, I got lost lots but it was a lot of fun to work out where to go. The boss fights were my favourite parts and usually they're not my kinda thing!

(+1)

everyone is a critic

(+2)

Everyone else's comments say what I wanna say but just way better. Basically, extremely good atmosphere, art, level design, and music.

Get it. That's a command.

(+2)

This game is just as compelling to play as it is delightful to look at and listen to! Wonderfully captures the sense of wonder (and slight foreboding) when exploring an unfamiliar forest. Definitely a must-play!

(+3)

I love the aesthetic of this game!  very simple visuals yet extremely appealing to look at.  Wandering around the twisting paths through the woods make it easy to get lost but I felt that getting lost was just part of the fun.

Great job!

(+3)

Visually stunning and a lot of fun, I loved playing it and I'm glad to see this get so much attention

Can't wait for the sequel

(+3)

i really loved it!! charming, had a great visual style and the perfect mix of exploration and combat. awesome stuff cc:

(+3)

Very moody adventure game with a sprinkle of action, I liked it!
And the game's visuals also enhances the experience too.
